San Francisco based artist Chor Boogie was one of several artists to take part in The Co11ective, an Art Basel satellite event featuring eleven veteran bi-cultural street artists who’s works range in style, from photography to mural art. The piece Chor Boogie painted was done on the last day of Art Basel 2011 in the Wynwood Art District of Miami.

Chor Boogie is well-known for his use of bold colors and semi-abstract imagery. I got a chance to check out a crazy mural that Chor Boogie painted with with Los Angeles graffiti artist Augustine Kofie (aka Kofie One) while visiting Miami last December. I really love Chor Boogie’s art work and the energy that his paintings convey.
