Honestly, I think the original version of Root Down sucks. I love this version 1000x better! Produced by Danish hip-hop production team The Prunes, Root Down (Free Zone Mix) makes me remember why I loved the Beastie Boys so much in the 80s and early 90s: hard beats & raw lyrics! The song appeared on the Root Down EP (1995).
